My name is Katie. I'm a 19-year-old girl who is a graduate of her local high school. My biggest passion is writing, though it's hard to tell on this account. I also enjoy reading, drawing, and music.

Over the past few years, I've had major changes in my life. I've grown up a lot; sometimes I feel like an 80-year-old woman. I've been diagnosed for depression and am taking meds for it, and I'm a recovering self-mutilator.

I'm not like most teenage girls I know. I'm a perfect example of the phrase "Treat others the way you want to be treated." If you're nice to me, I'll be nice back. If you're rude, I'll be a total bitch. I don't judge people and I accept everyone for the way they are, even if I may not agree with their views or beliefs. Unless, of course, you start being an ass. Then I don't accept you, period.

I'm a crazy individual. I might go to bed bawling my eyes out and wake up the next morning with a huge grin on my face. One second, I'm a total tom-boy ready to mud wrestle. The next I'm a total girly-girl who's afraid to break a nail. You don't know what side of me you'll get and don't ask me cause I honestly can't tell you.

My dreams in life are simple. I'd love to start a farm to help abused and neglected animals, specifically horses, cats, and dogs. I might not be the world's savior, but I'd like to help better it one problem at a time.
